Lost and Found; a saccharine but wonderful tale.

My rating: 4 stars (out of 5)

I absolutely loved this book! I thought the writing was amazing and the story was great. I’m hoping that it’s one that will stay with me. I particularly liked the old-aged love and the view of the world from a child’s perspective.

That said, it is of course, completely preposterous as stories go and would never happen in real life – a small child would never be able to take a journey with an old couple in this way to find her mother. Moreover, it is a bit too “cutesy” in places. I’m hoping that Brooke Davis can reel this in a little for the next book. Despite this, it’s a real gem and I’m looking forward to reading the next. Highly recommended if you want something magical, a bit whimsy and well written.

**I received a copy of this book thanks to the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
